पुराने समय में चूल्हे की आंच पर सेंकी जाती थी लेकिन आजकल घर-घर गैस सिलेंडर आ गया है. अब रोटियां गैस की आंच पर ही बनाई जाती हैं. बहुत से घरों में रोटी गैस की आंच पर सीधे ही सेंकी जाती है. कहा जाता है कि ऐसा करने से कैंसर का खतरा कई गुना तक बढ़ जाता है. सोशल मीडिया पर तमाम दावे किए जाते हैं कि गैस चूल्हे पर रोटी सेंकने से कैंसर (Cancer ) हो सकता है.
